Karl Yalo
Managing Director
Mr. Yalo has a vast number of years’ experience as a company director and investor in the oil & gas industry, renewable energy, mining, construction, airport financing & development. He is also experienced in project financing.

Pursuant to a mandate given by Western Provincial Government to lead commercial negotiations for P’nyang LNG Project, Mr. Yalo successfully negotiated with ExxonMobil and secured additional equity for the People of Western Province.

James Holden
Project Director
James is a Project Manager with an MBA and a degree in civil and geotechnical engineering. He has over 15 years of international experience spanning Africa, South America, Europe, the UK, the Middle East, Australia, and Papua New Guinea. He brings deep expertise across the design and delivery of mining developments, earth and water-retaining dams, tunnels, heavy civil works, irrigation systems, and major transport infrastructure—including airport and port expansions. His portfolio includes leadership of social and environmental impact assessments and permitting for mining projects, with a strong track record in high-rainfall tropical environments such as Lihir and Hidden Valley (PNG) and Petronas projects in Suriname.
Notable roles include Project Manager for the Tamale Airport upgrades in Ghana; investigations and design for Bulolo Airport (Morobe District); and Lead Engineer/Relief Project Manager for a national coastal sea-defence program with the Government of Ghana. James has also led multiple community-rebuilding initiatives addressing severe coastal erosion across West Africa. He is recognised for integrating robust geotechnical design, practical construction management, and responsible environmental practice to deliver resilient, compliant, and buildable solutions.

Sammy Edwin
Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Graduating with a Bachelors degree in Geology at the University of Papua New Guinea, Sammy Edwin specializes in engineering geology and has been working as a Geotechnical Engineer for over 4 years. His expertise includes soil foundation and stability, engineering soil analysis, survey and mapping as well as environmental analysis. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for PNG EPM, he assists in reviewing geotechnical reports and site inspections for building, quarry mine, airports, bridges and roads. Through providing geotechnical assessment reports, both technical and factual, he is involved with both the design and construction process.

Stanley Kamano
Civil Engineer
Stanley Kamano is a Civil Engineer with more than 5 years of work experience in the Mining, Oil and Gas sector. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, from the PNG University of Technology then started his career in the Mining Industry in 2018. Soon after graduating, he was employed by Harmony Gold Mine – Hidden Valley, in Bulolo Morobe Province, working as a project engineer in constructing the country’s first Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), for almost 3 years. Later in 2021, he exited from Harmony Gold Mine and joined PNG EPCM as a junior Project Manager. He now works as a project manager for PNG EPCM. The role includes working on major infrastructure projects within the Western, Gulf Province and other sectors within Papua New Guinea. Some roles and responsibilities include; Project Feasibility Study (PFS), for Roads, Bridges, airports and major infrastructure projects, CBA’s, Project Design Engineering for roads, bridges, buildings, jetties, wharfs etc. Having a strong knowledge in Project Management and Civil Engineering Construction works, gives him the leverage to undertake large infrastructure projects.
